Issuance of Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs)

The government of Telangana is using Digital Signature Certificates in various IT projects including the eProcurement platform for procurement of works, goods & services and receiving payments through portal. Telangana Technology Services (TGTS), the Nodal Agency for eGovernance initiatives of Govt. of Telangana is nominated by the Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Department (ITE&C Dept), Govt of Telangana for taking up “Sub Certifying Agency” role for distribution of Digital Certificates to the Government users.

TGTS is presently operating as Sub Certifying Authority under the following Certifying Authorities registered with the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA), DIT, New Delhi Trust Network for issuance of legally valid co-branded Class-III DSCs for Government users.

TGTS Sub-CA facility is issuing the following DSCs:

Procedure to be followed for obtaining Class-III Digital Signature Certificate:

Please visit TGTS website: http://www.TGTS.telangana.gov.in.

  1. Select Digital Certificate tab
  2. Click on ‘Online Application Links’ tab.
  3. Click on the link available against the respective CA i.e. M/s eMudhra or M/s QCID
  4. Follow the procedure adopted by the respective CA as per the below mentioned links:

Important Note:-

  1. Subscribers are requested to produce the required documents as per the procedure mentioned in above links for obtaining Digital Certificate.
  2. For renewal of DSC, the Applicant or his/her representative should bring the existing USB Token for downloading the renewed DSC.
  3. The DSC request letter along with source of funds (DD, eCorpus / MeeSeva Funds) to be submitted to the O/o TGTS, 2nd Floor, HACA Bhavan, Saifabad, Hyderabad to process the DSC as per the fee details mentioned above.
  4. Demand Draft is to be drawn in favor of “The Managing Director, Telangana Technology Services Limited” payable at Hyderabad with requisite application fee. Applicant’s details with phone number to be mentioned on backside of Demand Draft.

In Case the USB Token is lost:

  1. Complaint to be lodged with police station and obtain non traceable certificate from Mee Seva.
  2. And Obtain new DSC & USB Token by following the procedure mentioned above.

In case the USB Token is damaged:

1. Discard old USB Token and Obtain new DSC & USB Token by following the procedure mentioned above.
